RF-SS HIMMLER’S SS CASTLE AT WEWELSBURG |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
AN ACCURATE
SCALE MODEL OF WEWELSBURG CASTLE, HOME OF REICHSFÜHRER-SS HEINRICH HIMMLERs ORDER OF NORDIC MEN - THE SS |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
In 1934 Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler acquired the ruins of a 300+ year old castle at Wewelsburg near Paderborn in Westfalia, Germany. He established a branch concentration camp of Konzentrationslager Sachsenhausen at nearby Wewelsburg-Niederhagen and began an excavation and restoration of the castle. By 1939 the place had become Schule Haus Wewelsburg, the SS-Reichsführerschule and the home of Himmler’s Order of Nordic Men - the SS. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Following its partial destruction at the end of World War 2, Wewelsburg Castle has again been rebuilt with a SS museum in the former administrations building.
The four 12-1/2 x 17-1/2 inch multi-color printed sheets of cardstock we offer here, contain all the pieces needed to construct a realistic, detailed model of Wewelsburg Castle that measures about 12 x 13 x 5 inches tall. All you need is scissors, glue and a little patience. |
