This is among the rarest of the tourist information in Nazi era München (Munich), Germany. It is a 7-3/4 x 8-1/4 inch, 24 page well-illustrated FULL-COLOR soft cover guidebook to München, Hauptstadt der Bewegung (Munich - Capital of the Nazi Movement).
The booklet was published by the Landesfremdenverkehrsverband München und Südbayern eV (State Visitor Traffic Registered Association for Munich and Southern Bavaria) for distribution in 1939 and 1940.

The booklet begins with a quotation from Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler in which he mentions how impressed he was the first time he visited this remarkable German city. It continues with nicely captioned FULL-COLOR photos, one to a page, of the major sights in Munich. The first is the Feldherrnhalle and its Nazi martyr monument followed by the Nazi Honor Temples on the Königsplatz, the Führerbau on Königsplatz, the reception hall in the Führerbau, the exterior and interior of the House of German Art, the Army Museum, the National Theater, the Deutsches Museum, the Frauenkirche, Nymphenburg, Oktoberfest, Riem Horse Race Track, etc., etc.

We know of no other full-color Third Reich guide to Munich, the Capital of the Nazi Movement. Printed by Bruckmann in Munich. A previous owner has handwritten a train departure schedule in pencil on the otherwise blank back cover.
