This is an original half-leather hardbound 1937 edition of Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler. It is a 5 x 7-½ inch, 788-page example of the classic edition - parchment-like marbled hard covers, blue leather spine with gold blocking, top-edge gilt and it is complete with the sepia toned Hitler frontispiece portrait. It is in remarkable condition!

Following the front end paper there is a dedication page with the signature of controversial Oberbürgermeister (Lord Mayor) Alfred Fissmer, showing that this book was presented by the city of Siegen to the newlywed couple Patt - Leibner on their wedding day, 7 May 1937. It is interesting to note that May 1937 was the same month in which Mayor Fissmer became a member of the Nazi Party!
This 1937 edition of Mein Kampf was published by the Central Publishing House of the Nazi Party, Franz Eher Successors in München (Munich) and printed by Buchgewerbehaus M. Müller & Son of Munich. In the back it has advertising for other books published by the Zentralverlag der NSDAP written by Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Dr. Robert Ley, Alfred Rosenberg, Gottfried Feder and Ingeborg Wessel.

This 87 year old Hochzeitsausgabe or wedding edition of Mein Kampf is in very fine condition, exactly as shown. It has no loose pages or breaks in the spine and has no odor. The original Third Reich case is also in very nice condition without any repairs.
