Most collectors of Third Reich books are familiar with the Hoffmann Bildbände, the superb photo books published by Hitler's personal photographer Heinrich Hoffmann. Offered for sale on this USMBOOKS web page is a First Edition of Für Hitler bis Narvik (To Narvik For Hitler) from 1941.

This 96-page, 7-1/2 x 10-1/2 inch, very heavily illustrated softcover Nazi photo book Für Hitler bis Narvik has more than 130 spectacular full-page and half-page photos that very careful present the German military campaign to subdue the British Occupation Force in Norway and to crush the remaining anti-German Norwegian resistance. The offensive was a superbly crafted combined operation of the German Heer (Army), Luftwaffe (Air Force) and Kriegsmarine (Navy) with special emphasis on the use of Fallschirmjäger (paratroopers) and Gebirgsjäger (mountain troops). The various battles were over almost before they began with British troops surrendering en masse. The Germans proudly displayed their British POWs in a parade through the city of Trondheim, that the government of England would like everyone to forget.

In addition to superb photo coverage of the combat operations, there are plenty of pictures of the German High Command including Milch, Von Falkenhorst, Saalwächter, Geißler, Karls, Dietl, Göring, Raeder, Keitel and many of Hitler in his Hauptquartier.

It is a genuine First Edition of Für Hitler bis Narvik from 1941 in very good used condition.  No odor.  

A previous owner laminated the original dust jacket and added the title of the book to the spine prior to lamination.
