This is a very rare Nazi publication called Der Weg zum Sieg (The Road to Victory) published during the Third Reich to stress the importance of aviation to members of the Hitler Youth. As the subtitle on the front cover under the portrait of Nazi Aviation Minister Goering says: "The German Nation has to become a Nation of Aviators."

This 8-1/4 x 11-3/4 inch, 36 page Hitler Youth / Luftwaffe promotional recruiting publication starts with an introduction by Generalfeldmarschall Erhard Milch, and contains stories about Adolf Hitler, Reichsmarschall Hermann Goering, "The Road from Young HJ Pimpfe to Luftwaffe Pilot" and a photo article called "From the Hitler Youth to Knights Cross Recipient" about famous Knight's Cross winner Oberleutnant Werner Baumbach, as well as a photo article about pre-military aviation educaton for members of the HJ.

There are rare photos of Nazi Air Minister Hermann Göring, Göring with Adolf Galland and Werner Mölders, the Reichsluftfahrtminister personally thanking Luftwaffe pilots (below), General der Flieger Christiansen, Reichsjugendführer Axmann, Hitlerjugend boys studying and playing with airplane models, Red Baron Manfred von Richthofen, etc.   Inside the back cover is a rare view of the striking stain glass windows in Luftfahrtministerium in Berlin (shown above).
