Schriften zu Deutschlands Erneuerung (Booklets for the Renewal of Germany) are 16-page educational publications on a variety of subject written by a number of different authors in an effort to educate young Germans. They were published by Kreisgruppe Breslau des Nationalsozialistischen Lehrerbundes, the NSLB or National Socialist Teachers League of Nazi Party District Breslau (now Wroclaw in western Poland).

According to a review inside the front cover of this very rare original 6-¼ x 9-¼ inch sturdy SA brown cardstock Sammelmappe or binder, the publications contain easy to read unadorned and true historical material, written with inner warmth in order to capture and anchor National Socialist fundamentals in young brains.

These 12 rare 90+ year old booklets are in excellent condition as they have been stored in their original Third Reich binder for many decades, away from light. The name of the original owner is written on the front cover, but the spaces left for the name of the school, etc. are not filled out. The top of the spine of the Sammelmappe has a small scotch tape repair as does the lower right corner of the back cover. No odor.

We have found single issues of Schriften zu Deutschlands Erneuerung online, but not this rare original Sammelmappe or binder with twelve original Schriften. Especially Issue number 1 Adolf Hitler der Retter Deutschlands and Horst Wessel eines deutschen Helden Leben und Sterben are very rare and expensive if they can be found! This is early Nazi material in fine condition!

9. Old and New Songs for the German Youth by Otto Fröhlich and Herbert Laube
10. From the Collapse to the Break-Up of a Nation - Germany’s Years of Suffering 1919-1933 by M. Ertel
11. From Bismarck to Hitler, Germany’s Road to Unity by Curt Hermann
12. Horst Wessel, a German Hero’s Life and Death by E. Malitius

Each Schrift has 16 pages (a total of 192 pages), each with a striking cover illustration. They were published by Heinrich Handels Verlag in Breslau. When a new Schrift would be printed it could be added to the binder. If an updated edition came out, the old version could be removed from the binder and be replaced.
